To kick off 2026, the Swellendam Heritage Association will be going on an outing to Riversdale on Thursday, 22 January.
Programme
Meet at the Zanddrift car park from 08:30. Departure between 08:45 – 09:00 (lifts will be arranged where needed).
At 10:00 we will enjoy a guided tour of the Julius Gordon Africana Centre (two groups), followed by time to browse and refreshments at the Ou Tronk (Old Jail), where a short history talk will be given.
We will then walk along Long Street to De Doornkraal Vinotel for an optional pensioners’ lunch (own cost).
